Seems like the season just started but it will shortly be coming to an end. But I guess that's what happens when you are in a shortened and compressed 46 game season. Thanks lockout. The story early on in the season was the winning streak by the Chicago Blackhawks and then both the Anaheim Ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins went on their own winning streaks. Although no one has matched a start like the Blackhawks, it seemed for a while like the Penguins might be the best team. Now that Crosby is out the battle for best appears to be between the Ducks and Blackhawks.

Summer is in full force and so is the NASCAR regular season. After 17 races the Chase picture is beginning to take shape. Kevin Harvick established a lead early on in the season and has held on to the top spot for the most part and will essentially be able to cruise into the Chase. With only 9 races remaining there are several teams that will be using the "make or break" mantra for the remainder of the regular season. Currently the standings show Tony Stewart

From San Antonio to Dallas/Ft. Worth, to Augusta the first weekend in April is full of super sporting events for Sports Traveler. Our staff and our clients have fanned out across the country for some of the greatest sporting events of the year. This weekend is special for us at Sports Traveler - and busy! We have the triple header of The Final Four, Texas 500 and The Masters kicking off, all at the same time!
I'm reporting to you from Augusta, Georgia tonight after a nice long delayed-filled day of flying. I'm tired but I'm here and ready for another great Masters Week. The town is ready to go. The flowers are in bloom and the grass is really green. And I found a great place to catch a true southern meal with excellent food - be sure to check out Sconyers Bar-B-Que, 2250 Sconyers Way, Augusta, GA 30906, Phone: (706) 790-5411. This place has been around since 1956 and is only open 3 days a week (Thursday, Friday, Sat.) It's so good, President Carter used to have this sauce flown

I love NASCAR racing at big tracks. That's why I usually turn up at the Daytona 500. But nothing compares to the shear massive-ness of Talladega SuperSpeedway. I've never seen a track so big and a race so filled with non-stop action as the racing at Talladega. If you have never experienced it, now is a great time.
Talladega is a small town located about an hour and half outside of Atlanta. The track isn't in the town. It's about 10 miles outside of town. In fact, on my first trip to Talladega I was wondering if there was a town at all. The terrain is rolling hills with small mountains lining the horizon in the distance. A beautiful scene when you sit up in the Tower seats with non-stop racing on the track below you.
My favorite memory of last year's race was that of one of our clients that had flown all the way from Australia to see the Talladega Race. We were watching them go green and the cars were zipping past and the Australian was just standing there with his mouth open in awe. He
